ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the clinical treatment effect of edaravone on vascular Parkinson syndrome. Methods 78 patients in our hospital who accepted treatment were selected as the study samples. They were divided into two groups which included treatment group (n =39)and control group (n =39)by random number table meth-od.The control group were given routine treatment, mainly including madopar, aspilin and cripar, however, the treat-ment group administered edaravone on the basis of conventional treatment. After total 2 periods of treatment, the score of UPDR,therapeutic efficacy and adverse reactions were recorded and compared. Results The therapeutic effective rate was 92.31% in the treatment group, which was significantly higer than that of the control group (66.66%),and the difference was statistical significance (χ2 =4.251,P 0.05).The patients in the observation group mental,e -motional and behavioral score were lower than those of the control group (t =4.568,4.113,4.345,all P <0.05),and there was no adverse reaction in the treatment group. Conclusion The treatment of edaravone in vascular Parkinson syndrome can obviously enhance the therapeutic effect, improve the treatment efficiency, has less adverse reaction and good tolerance,it is worth for clinical reference.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the effect and safety of ambroxol combined with antibiotic in treatment the elderly diabetic patients complicated with pneumonia. Methods 86 elderly diabetic patients with pneumonia were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to different treatment options. All the patients were given oxygen, suction, nutrition therapy, postural drainage and basic treatment for diabetes.Cefoperazone sulbactam was given in control group,5.0g dissolved in 150 ml saline,1 time/d.Ambroxol hydrochloride injection was added in observation group,40mg/kg dissolved in 150 ml saline,1 time/d.Body temperature, sputum, leukocyte and chest X-ray were observed and recorded, and the recovery time was recorded. Results 37 cases were cured,6 cases improved in observation group, and the total effective rate was 100.00%.28 cases were cured,12 cases improved in control group, and the total effective rate was 93.02%.The effective rate of the observation group was higher than the control group(P <0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in observation group was 6.98%,while 4.65% in control group, and there was no statistical difference between the two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion Ambroxol hydrochloride added to antibiotic routine therapy in treatment the elderly diabetic patients complicated with pneumonia couldimprove the cure rate and shorten the healing time.It was worthy of clinical application.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To observe the expression of plasma thrombospondin-1(TSP-1) at different time in protein-overload rats and to analyze the relationship between plasma TSP-1 expression and renal interstitial fibrosis.@*METHODS@#Forty-five male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into a bovine serum albumin (BSA) group and a control group after uninephrectomization. Rats with protein overload nephropathy induced by intraperitoneally injected BSA were used as a model (control group received saline). At the 1st, 5th, and 9th weekend, the level of 24 h proteinuria and renal function was assessed. Pathological changes were observed by electron and fluorescent microscopy. The expression of plasma TSP-1 was detected by Western blot. The relationship between plasma TSP-1 and tubulointerstitial lesions (TIL) score was analyzed.@*RESULTS@#Twenty-four hour proteinuria and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) significantly increased in protein-overload rats compared with those in the control group. While protein-overload rats developed more severe fibrosis in the tubular and interstitium. Glomerulosclerosis index and TIL score were upregulated compared with those in the control group. The expression of TSP-1 increased significantly at the 5th and 9th weekend. The expression of TSP-1 was positively correlated with TIL score (r=0.836, P<0.01).@*CONCLUSION@#Plasma TSP-1 expression is positively correlated with renal interstitial fibrosis in protein-overload rats. Plasma TSP-1 may be used for an important biomarker of renal interstitial fibrosis.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo find out the relationship between the opacity in lens and the contents of 2,6-dinitro-4-amino-toluene(DNAT) in the urine of exposed workers.

METHODSTesting the exposed worker's lens and measuring the contents of DNAT in the urine after work.

RESULTSWhen the opacity of the lens occurred, the contents of DNAT in the urine(2.38 mg/L) of workers exposed to TNT were significantly higher than those without opacity in lens(1.44 mg/L) (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe severity of opacity of lens increased with the contents of DNAT raised in the urine. The threshold value suggested by ILO is not applicable to Chinese occupational population, which recommends the contents of DNAT(30 mg/L) in the urine for the workers exposed to TNT as biological occupational exposed limits.
